Default Moving to the Seattle Area

I am in need of some help. My boyfriend, dog, and I will be moving to the Seattle area by the end of June from Chicago. I am really unsure of where to move to. We would like an apartment that allows a 60lb dog and is considered the suburbs. We obviously would like to be in a safe environment. Currently thinking Auburn & up. If someone can help me with their ideas, that would be great!

I am planning on coming out there before moving out there, so any ideas would be great!

Welcome, dabbado!

oooooh, a 60 pound dog in an apartment! I hope somebody can answer your question; that's an interesting one.

Stay tuned.

Seattle is expensive, high crime rate, lots of gangs, Moderator cut: hate speech not allowed If you are unpatriotic and hate the President, you'll fit right in. Auburn is also very unsafe. I live in the Edmonds/Lynnwood area. It's safer than Seattle but expensive. The condos in my neighborhood start at $300,000. If you can find an apartment that allows a dog you will be paying $1500 and up.

The scenery is beautiful and it rains a lot.
Good Luck!

LOL!! Excuse me but I'm still laughing at PennyM's response. Dabbado why on earth did you choose Auburn? Will you be working in or near Auburn?

We haven't chosen anywhere to live yet, hence needing help on finding a location. The farthest we would move to would be Auburn. I am doing outside sales, so it doesn't really matter where we move to, just somewhere nice.
