I never had a Wasr, but have 2 SAR-1's, not sure if there is a letter like G to it, and I have that same yugo M-70 with the sticker and the underfolding stock. I have never fired that yet, but i got one. I assume it will fire, bit it won't be the gun I pick up in need. More or less it is said to be new in the box. It needs new night sights, and has since day 1. A few years ago I spent some time looking and found one site that carried them but were out of stock.

The only times the SAR's click is after that last rnd. I wish the mags i have had a bolt open lock for after that last rnd. I can do a trick to hold the bolt open, but it is not sure fire safe. An error could get you Garand thumb The trick is due to the USA made trigger group.

That one^^ is a post May '86 Class III sample. He gave up his Class III license and it was a choice to either turn it in or destroy it. The ATF didn't get it back. He chose to destroy it!

They will fire packed full of mud and who knows what else Mac! You know the Yugo magazines like what came with our M-70's has a bolt hold open follower, right? You probably do. I haven't tried this yet but some guys at the last gun show said it works. Here is the link. Check it out. P.S. I'll DM you some more parts places.

No Axel I didn't know that. I will have to try and see the video, which is hard to do on 56 k mo-dumb. A big problem is going to be to tell which mags came with it. I have a collection one might say of mags.. uh oh

Can you get a pic of that follower please? That might help a lot. No hurry.......

The Yugo magazine with the last round bolt hold open is on the left. Standard is one the right. See the extra meat on the case support? It goes all the way to the back as well. The standard one stops about 1/4" from the back. This extra material is what holds your bolt open when empty.

Yeah I see that 1/2 circle, which is part of the follower plate huh? At least i know what to look for. I think my M-70 is pre ban is it still likely to have that type follower?

This isn't going to be fun, looking over the box of mags I have. The easy part will be to remove all the chinese mags first.... Oh Boy....... I didn't keep the M-70 in it's box for fear of the high humidity here. I guess i should go site it in and clean it up. It hasn't got the chrome lined bore the SAR-1's do, and my cheek isn't fond of cold steel.

More or less I consider it to be a big pistol.

I owe ya one Man fer the pic.

With out a dated paper i am not too sure that counter top belongs to you

I knew you knew. I wasn't specific enough for the readers. The case support (lips) of the magazine (not the follower) is the same. It's all in the details....... all in the little little details!
