So let's say you have access to a plane and you were able to fly it. In the event of a total collapse of society, where would you be headed to to escape?

My inclination would be to not cross any borders, but if I were going to, I'd prefer Canada. Even then, I'd probably risk crossing on foot before flying a plane in. Unless they were real busy with their own collapse, I suspect they'd be watching for refugees.

If there is a total collapse of U.S. society, I would expect the rest of the world to collapse as well, so why go to some place you don't know, might not know the language, and will stick out as someone "not from around here." Also, what are you going to do when you get there? You can't take your food, water, generator, weapons, etc., etc. I'd rather take my chances with what I know and be much better supplied than just fly off to someplace else and have not much more than the clothes on my back.

Yup, If the USA goes down, long before that many others will and they are right now.

There is no where to go really.

About now if I had a plane, I'ld sell it and put up supplies in it's place.

If it's a really big plane, and you can pack in 5 years supplies, maybe a remote landing strip in AK for a heathy fit small family.

Then trade the plane for a dwelling that makes sence.

Strangers in shtf won't be a good thing to be a bit.

Just a glance at the politics page on this site should be enough to show the world is coming unglued as I type.

If anyone is the type to panic, this is a great time for that.

If March 31st comes and goes and the Feds haven't got a new loan in trillions from a fool somewhere the time is short.

Even if they get a fool and a loan the time is only extended.

Everyone has the choice to hang out and whine for a living, or make some provisions for themselves.

I don't belive the whiners will get very far for much longer. No one will be coming to save them.

Printing more play money isn't going to work for much longer either.
