I do not shop with AT&T or at Walmart. But all those other stores have NEVER swiped my driver's license.

Target is the only store to wanting to swipe my DL for liquor purchases. I told them to forget it. I don't look underage. I told the clerk I was old enough to be his grandfather. His comment is the store makes them do it, it's policy.
Various other stores have asked to see it for ID purposes only to verify who I say I am.

If you really want to confuse someone, hand them your passport card or your Firearm owners permit card.

I do not allow anyone to swipe my drivers license.

Nope, any place that asked to swipe my DL wouldn't get my business, nor would I live anywhere that had such a thing as a firearm owners permit card.

Take a Sharpie and draw a line diagonally through the barcode.

Get a heavy duty magnet or electromagnet and wipe the stripe.

Problem solved. Nobody will ever successfully scan or swipe your d/l again.

(We really needed ANOTHER law for this??!?!?? Yay! MORE laws! )
