I love Barnes & Noble, its relaxing and enjoyable to browse books and look at magazines. They carry a large selection of good quality items. Over the years I have also bought re-useable water bottles, toys, games, holiday cards and calendars in addition to reading materials.
Its really a great way to spend 1-2 hours. I hope we always have Barnes & Noble in town. Used to enjoy Borders and Books a Million too but they all closed. Amazon can be great for e-books for the kindle or books that are far more reasonably priced...but overall prefer B&N.
Love scouring book stores and libraries. I also like to leaf through a book and get an idea of what it is before I buy it. That's something you can't do online, which seems kind of sterile. Plus it's always nice to be out and about with people.
