While USPS is the obvious choice for small packages, what do you normally use for large or bulky packages?
I mostly use UPS for such packages. In my experience USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes rarely come out cheaper unless they are completely full (3+ lbs for a Medium Flat Rate and 7+ lbs for a Large Flat Rate).
If you are an individual or small business, with Pirate Ship, UPS Ground comes out significantly cheaper than FedEx Ground directly through FedEx. Pirate Ship is free to join.
