That's true but I can't imagine the gamblers committing crimes, completely different demographic of people for the most part.

Some of those who spends all their money hoping to win big one will not have money to buy their necessities for their self nor their family in order to pay their bills & will cheat, steal, & kill to replace the money they spent on those worthless lottery tickets.

And no drinking, gambling, drugs, prostitution is not every where.

Yes, I went to grade school, junior high school, & high school.

Your much like the young man that came into my store one day & asked me, "What kind of beer do you drink?"

I replied, "I don't drink."

He them said, "Your lying, everybody drinks."

Or & like my daughter when she was a high school teenager she would come home from school asking, "Can I go to the party at so & so's house?"

I would replied, "NO."

Them she would say, "But daddy, everyone will be there except for me, please let me go."

Just because things take place around some places & or you live in a place where it does does not mean it takes place everywhere.

Your deceived by your own brain.

If you care to show me a place with no drugs or alcohol, I'd love to apologize.

There is no drinking, gambling, drugs, nor prostitution that takes place on my farm, so go ahead & apologize for I have just told you of at least one place that nothing like that takes place.

There are people in your parish/county who drink and do drugs.

Just to add to the thread a bit, my wife and I had our first place together in Shreveport's Allendale area: one of the absolute worst parts of town. Out of the 6 years we were there, none of us were at all effected by some of the sketch in the neighborhood. This is attributed to the fact that we weren't druggies or bangers so the types incidents that were customary weren't apart of our lifestyle.

Of course random violence happens every blue moon or so, but I really wish people would keep in mind the correlation between lifestyle choices and a city's violent crime rate. I'm no fan of Shreveport and am damn glad to be gone from there, but the truth is the truth...

Oh and from someone born in Shreveport, let me tell you...all that casino/gambler talk is nonsense. Crime in Shreveport has nothing to do with the casinos
