Hello, I'm looking to move to an apartment building called "Parkway Apartments". I'm relatively new to Sioux Falls and my main concern is regarding safety, I'm a single hispanic male, late twenties, and like to keep to myself.
I went to the place and it is right next to Lyon Park, it seemed ok, but I have no idea how the street is, if any sketchy people in the building or nearby (drug dealers, homeless, etc).
That area is sort of a mix. South of there is more owned residential homes and considered fairly safe (McKennan Park area). 14th street and Lyon park have had some trouble in the past. I did notice a few of the older apartment buildings on that block have been recently renovated and there is some effort to improve that section of downtown.
The non emergency police number during the day could give you some feedback on the number and type of police calls for that block. I did that for an area west of there when we were considering buying a property and they were willing to tell me.

Thanks in advance.
What is your budget for a monthly rental and how many bedrooms, etc.?
Thank you so much for both replies. I did find what I was looking for elsewhere.
