I need to book a round trip flight from Sioux Falls to Minneapolis (I'm going to take a two week trip to Costa Rica in November and I want to stay overnight in Minneapolis the night before and after my flight). I know it's a few months away, but I see the round trip is $204. Seems it won't really get much cheaper than that, right?
Anyone have experience and advice they can give regarding booking now or waiting, etc??
I used to work for the large airline that flies into and out of MSP, you will most certainly NOT find a cheaper price than that. Quite honestly, I'm surprised it's that low. I'm very shocked, to a point that I'm going to look for that fare now, because that's CRAZY low. I would expect that ticket in and of itself to be no less than 5-600 dollars.

Actually, the Delta flight went from 204 to 213. Still seems low, but it's only an hour flight so I wouldn't think it would be 500 bucks or anything. But I've been reading fares have been dropping. I may just get it though. I don't remember what it has been in the past since I just moved back here from California (although I grew up in S.D.). Thanks for the opinion.

If you wanna PM me, I can tell you what to look for when shopping for the flights so you know if it'll get cheaper. I used to work in a city that was one-airline service, so that's why an hour flight for 500 didn't seem out of line for me, given the greedy status of the airline. Anyways, PM me if you wanna discuss the specific airline price and route you're looking at.
