Stink-free neighborhood in Sioux Falls

Aspen seems like such a great area to live in... Newer construction, but it's affordable...I see that they are building a gas station (either Get N Go or Kum N Go) at Benson Road and North Louise... and all the land at the major intersections in the area are for sale... Plus a new elementary school is planned along Maple east of La Mesa Drive

There is also a Kum & Go planned for the northwest corner of Marion Rd. and Madison St. and a Great Western Bank is planned for that corner also. The Argus leader had an article about the nortwest part of Sioux Falls several weeks ago.

I would like to see Hy-Vee and Target/Wal-Mart set up shop in that area. If one, both, or all three of these comes in, you would certainly notice a residual effect for businesses and construction of business property. It is a bummer that Wal-Mart called off plans for building a third store on 60th St. North west of the Flying J. The one by the mall is too busy and a third one is needed to take some pressure off of both the east and westside Wal-Mart. I would not be surprised to see Hy-Vee building there once there are more homes and employers in the area.
