Who saw today's results coming?

Liverpool thumped Arsenal 5-1 and Man City drew 0-0 away to Norwich.

Chelsea are on top tonight.

Worst thing about being a Liverpool fan is that after that victory we will most likely lose to Fulham on the road on Wednesday.

I know what you mean.

Realistically I think the title race is between Man City and Chelsea.

The bottom of the table is wide open with even the team in tenth far from safe.

It's Chelsea's to lose. Man City are far too inconsistent, as well as Chelsea are just keeping under the radar. Not making much noise, and getting on with the job.

The focus is on Man Utd at the minute, which takes any pressure off of Chelsea, who can keep doing what they are doing.

Liverpool will falter, bar the from three (Suarez, Sturridge and Coutinho) they haven't really got that factor to take them all the way. Gerrard is getting on and hasn't be quality for a while. He has glimpses but he just isn't as good as people think. Lampard by far and away the better of the two.

Arsenal, everyone hates them for one reason, Piers Morgan. Everyone wishes they would be relegated, just to see his vimto head explode with rage.

Utd will finish in the Europa, or that's what I thought at Xmas, but you just don't know anymore. Moyes is destroying the club, with Fergie watching his every step like a weird babysitter.

City have a good chance to win the league, but as I say they need to be more consistent if they are to do so.

Everton, I hope will make the Champions League ahead of Liverpool/Arsenal, but highly doubt it. Looks like Europa for them.

Anyway, the Prem is dog ****e, lets talk League 1!!

Man City has some serious injury issues right now: Fernandinho, Nasri, Aguero, with Negredo and Dzeko back but still not fit. Thy have short term issues to get past.

Gerrard was truly world class back in the mid 2000s. Getting on but can still do a job - passing is still superb.
