Good win for Spain but HORRIBLE officiating, that referee completely broke the flow of the game, he should have just let them play.......
That was terrible officiating. The officiating in this tournament had been decent until this game.
The game was disappointing, thats for sure. But, I believe Spain rightfully pulled off the victory. They were the better team and just werent able to get that final touch in regulation.
Well... Turkey is out, but they should be proud, what a great run..... Good job Turkey. It was pretty annoying watching the game with all the "Technical" issues though....

The entire world had to deal with it man. It just wasn't us.
Actually, the funny thing - the only two stations that carried the match uninterrupted was a Swiss station and...
I like Spain to beat Russia and then 3-1 over Germany in the final. Torres will get 2. (I'm a Liverpool fan, what can I say). Germany did not look that great today, and Jens Lehman is a mess. Can't believe with all the talent in that country, he is their #1 keeper.
But when you're playing abroad, in La Liga, playing behind Santiago Canizares, you're not gonna get many oppportunities. Low didn't believe he was fit enough to play everyday, so he reverted to his usual suspects, Lehmann and Enke.
Lehmann had a tough year at Arsenal, but he did play most of the first half of the Premiership season, until Almunia took over and Arsene Wegner lost complete faith in him. I already knew he was way overrated after watching him against United at Old Trafford. It was a mess. Enke is an alright GK, but he's nothing special. He used to play in Portugal, then moved to Barcelona in the late 90's, but was stuck on the bench during the better part of his prime. They haven't really cultivated talent in goal, but Hildrebrand is one to watch for the future. I saw him in the U-21 match against England 5 years ago, in a match featuring Joe Cole, amongst others, and you could see he was pretty good then.
It all comes down to this boys and girls, who ya'll got? Germany or Spain? I hope it won't be as bad a game as Spain vs. Italy, that game was brutal due to all the whistles by the zebras. I think Spain might do it this year, but I don't ever count the Germans out either.
