Yep. Union states are far wealthier. Right to work states are usually dirt poor.

Ideology prevents higher income.

"Right to work" is more like "Right to be exploited."

Anybody who opposes right to work opposes freedom in general. You shouldn't have to join a union or any 3rd party to get a job at a company. A man should have the right to deal directly with his employer. That is all right to work is about.

Unions are against people, not for them. people making private decisions is their nightmare.

China doesn't have unions either. Neither does North Korea.

There is a reason why they don't.

lol, China doesn't have real capitalism or freedom either. I don't think unions is the big deal over there. China politics are actually in more line with yours. They dont oppose unions for the reason that conservatives do. It isn't based in freedom.

You would have people paying firefighters like 200K a year if you had the power. You already decided that you government workers are the very best among us and deserve to have access to our bank accounts.

No, I wouldn't. Firemen and cops, and soldiers for that matter, should NOT make a lot of money. Why? Because unlike the greedy slobs in some corporate circles, they don't do it FOR the money, they do it DESPITE the money.

I don't want cops making 200K a year. Because guess what? When it hits the fan, half of them wouldn't go running into it, because they'd be the ones only in it for the money. Same with firemen. If the pay was very high, some would refuse to risk it all when that moment comes.

I do support a middle class wage for cops and firemen. As for military, I wasn't in. But, I believe they, too, are often underpaid. Enlisted men anyway.

Actually we got Boeing in Charleston because of the union thing in Washington state, if I'm not mistaken.

The fact we are non union state is one thing businesses always cite when they locate here. It is common sense.

Hmmm. Wonder how New York and California got all those billion dollar companies?

You do know that South Carolina is literally a welfare-state, right? You DO KNOW that the State of South Carolina TAKES more money from the federal government in handouts than it GIVES in tax money, right?

Did you know that? Our right wing, right to work state pays less in federal tax money than we take in from welfare and subsidies?

Blue states like Cali and NY? They PAY more than they take to the Feds.

Blue states are literally supporting red welfare states like SC.

You did know that, right? Do you support us being a welfare state?

You are tryign to beat up on Republicans in SC over welfare. Think about about that for a minute, smart guy. Who asks for it, who needs it? Republicans in SC? Or is it it the low income Democrats? LOL
