In 1926, Georgia's state librarian compiled a list of physically spectacular or unusual sites in the state, dubbing them the Seven Natural Wonders of Georgia. If you had to compile a similar list for South Carolina, what would it include?

Well, I would put the ACE Basin on there but it's likely not quite what you mean. Intersting premise though.

Edisto River: Longest flowing black river in North America
Angel Oak Johns Island SC
Lemon Island area of Beaufort SC
Bone Yard Beach Awendaw SC

Maybe include the "Carolina Bays" that are present in the Lowcountry/Pee Dee areas.

And the Congaree National Forest (largest remaining expanse of old growth bottomland forest in the SE).

Botany Bay - Virtually untouched beach. Not many of those left.
Congaree National Park
Carolina Bays - Woods Bay to be specific.
Table Rock
Angel Oak
Edisto River
Raven Cliff Falls
