An updated site plan includes Petco, Five Below, Rack Room Shoes, Michael's, and Tru; lacks a movie theater; and sets "Anchor A" as the projected grocer.

Marshall's, Michael's, Ulta, Rack Room Shoes, Five Below, and Petco have signed leases.

A specialty grocer is being targeted to occupy a 20,000-square-foot space.

An outparcel has been sold to a hotelier who my open the first Tru by Hilton in South Carolina.

Hartwell Village may have been annexed into the city of Seneca.

I know the architecture majors at Clemson will be happy to have a Michael's in town. My roommate was going over to the one in Greenville on Laurens Road all the time.

I wonder if the 20,000-square-foot specialty grocer could be specialty gourmet grocer The Fresh Market.

20,000 sq ft is too big for a Traders, and itd be a pretty shocking win for Seneca considering they havent set up in Savannah, Wilmington, Augusta, Myrtle Beach, Fayetteville, Columbus, or Florence yet.

But we'll see.

Spartanburg or Anderson either. TJ's doesn't seem too interested in expanding out since they opened in Greenville.

Second thought, I'm backing off them. Sprouts or FM more likely. FM really favors upscale areas though as they should. Pricey.

Trader Joes is pretty selective with their locations. IDK about Anderson, but Spartanburg could land one before long. Seneca IMO is just too small. And I agree about FM, it's pricey and wouldn't be the friendliest option for the college crowd. But it's still possible.

I don't know much about Sprouts, but it'd be a cool addition. That 20k sf is just so small, it's hard to pinpoint. If it was at least 40k then you could get a much better idea. 20k is too small for even a Walmart Market.

I wonder if Casto has recruited a mini Target (20,000-25,000 sq ft) to this center. They are expanding this format close to college campuses now. UF, UNC, NCState, Cincy just a few coming soon. FSU just announced New Target store opening in Tallahassee next year

That would be a good get for this center on the edge of campus as these stores are geared to college "guests".
