SEC basketball isn't even in the same discussion as SEC football. SEC basketball is UK and then the field. SEC football has depth to it with the WEST certainly dominating the EAST but still depth until you get to Vandy, UK, USC, etc..... The SEC would have to really and I mean really up it's game in men's bball to get anywhere near what that conference has done in football.

On the plus side for USC if they can go 11-0 in non conference they can go .500 in SEC play and probably still come out with an NIT bid. So....making the dance is possible but they gotta do better than .500 in conference.

Hey Buckeye (I hope that is not Ohio State , who is hated here!), don't be so negative about SEC, Kentucky already lost a game, and they will lose another soon. USC is not 8-0, so we don't want to hear about any NIT. It is NCAA this year baby!

No games on the road yet (Virgin Islands isn't a road game), no quality opponents yet, schedule strength around 250th in the country.

I agree; I think we will definitely be in the NCAAT this year. We will likely be undefeated in the non-conference schedule and I think we'll finish above .500 in conference. I think we'll finish in the top 4 in conference and get the double bye in the SECT.

Right with you man. 9-0 now, play Clemson on Friday and will be 10-0. Let's go. NCAA baby!
And, yes, we were #25 in coaches poll, we will be ranked in the AP Poll when we win at Clemson Friday.

Carolina is the only school in the NCAA with undefeated girls and guys teams. USC has really done a good job getting the school competitive.
