In other development news, Dogwood Cove townhomes are being built on Alligator Rd, and further down Alligator Rd. Right at I-95 Alligator West phases 3 and 4 is about to be built which will be 137 homes.
It appears that QT (Quick Trip) will be building in Florence as the land where Young’s Plantation off Hwy. 76 and I-95 has been purchased by the Corp.
Also land purchased off of Freedom Blvd and Becky’s lane will be the site of a new housing development and an RV park across the street from there.
Corner of Hwy. 76 and Alligator Rd. will be the site of a new development as it appears to be apartments and townhomes and some commercial spaces as well.
The land for AESC’s training center has been cleared as construction looks to start soon.
I read somewhere that Publix has made it official to put a store in Florence but I have not heard anything official.
The city has secured a 17 Million grant to reimagine Levy park in East Flo, a lot is going on in Florence, and this is not everything taking place.

I hear that it’s going to be a stand alone building with other shops and restaurants. Who knows if this is even true, until the official announcement it’s all rumors.
