Default Possibly moving to Florence area.. Q's

Hi all.

I may have a chance to get a promotion at my current company, and get a job I have wanted for a long time.

Bad news, I would have to relocate to the Florence area.

I am a little scared read through the posts here. Someone convince me why I should move here!

I have lived in Northeast Ohio, some in North Carolina, Hampton Roads, VA, and now San Antonio. I love it here, but, I am kind of stuck in my current position, so, the only chance I have to get ahead is to move.

I would be working at QVC. If there an area within 10-20 minutes that is safe and reasonably priced (probably going to rent)?

I also read on here that car insurance is high in this area? Yikes. It is super high here, I am hoping it would go down. My insurance jumped from 400 every 6 months living in Virginia Beach to 900 every 6 here.
Thanks for any help or advice you can offer!

Chico020 is on a distinguished road
Florence isnt a bad city unless your looking for a city as big as some of the ones named. It has most of what you need. West Florence or South Florence would be the best places to live. If need more ansers just contact me.
