My wife and son are wanting to move to SC. but I have really bad Allergys mainly to weed and tree pollens. where is the best place to live with said allergys any help would be great.

Probably along the coast. Too many beautiful trees elsewhere in the state.

Upstate is the allergy capital of the country; I would advise you to stay away from this part of the state.

Yep, MYRC60 is right. Literally, the Upstate of SC has been rated WORST in the country for allergies. I'm guessing all of the pine trees. The Coast has to be the best option for you. Good luck!

Actually it's something with the mountains trapping the air and the amount of green is also a culprit.

Thank you!

I was hoping to move close to the coast any how.
just worryed about the cost of living. Rent and such

maybe I should look into North Caralina to see how they are for bad allergys

It depends on what you are specifically allergic to. I've known a couple of people who claimed they were fine growing up in other parts of the state but miserable in Charleston in Spring and fall. Could be that they were fine with pines but not all the oaks or shrubs we have here? I never really figured it out but have had more than one person express that sentiment.
