Rave: Saw my nephew formally receive his engineering doctorate at Tech.
Rave: Loved seeing my family in South Dakota
Rave: Made it home safely with no chains or snow tires as we rented a car. Hubby did an excellent job driving through the "ground blizzards" in Wyoming.
Rave: Enjoyed my Christmas with family out in California. Good to be home seeing the ones I love here.

Rant: Having tough times on another board where I want to use my pseudonym and the moderator has decided to require real names. It's a privacy issue to me.

Sorry about your puppy. We're major dog lovers here. They ARE part of the family. I've had to do the same thing with lots of tears.

Rave: his ashes are home and he's up on top of the china cabinet.
Rant: this loss is the toughest one yet.
Rave: the parrot keeps calling for him.
Rave and lol: she called him Petey linguini, which was fitting seeing how he would steel bread when visiting grandma and grandpa.

Most of the Buffalo are around Red Valley rd. The ELK can show up almost anywhere, but you have to be there near sundown or sunup.
