We are relocating to Canton and are purchasing a home. However, we will move there before we are able to close on the home. Any short term rental options in Canton (We need to be in Canton because school will start). Any apartment complexes? Thanks for your help!

Try the Elms Apartments in Canton. Minimum lease is 6 months however. 605-335-7949.
It's somewhat recently transitioned from being a subsidized apartment for low income housing to a rental based apartment building. I don't know when this took place. It could have been over a year ago now.

Canton only has a population of about 3000, so not going to be a lot of apartment buildings anyway. It's also close enough to Sioux Falls, that it's become somewhat of a commuter/bedroom community for people looking to raise a family in a smaller town - thus houses, not apartments. People that fit more into the apartment-dwelling demographic are more likely to migrate to Sioux Falls where there are more jobs, nightlife, shopping, etc.
