What a great bunch of people you all are! I have been watching for some time now while drinking my tea in the mornings and planning my move to RC. You all have been so helpful all the way around. Now it's my turn...

I was just looking around online at attractions in RC and came across this...

Rapid City, South Dakota - Prospector
I really doubt that this is a true mufflerman, but he is nice. Rapid City, South Dakota, highway 16 about 3-5 miles south of Rapid City before Reptile Gardens. Very entertaining road -- lots to do -- Cosmos and Marine World. [Russell Metzner, 03/30/1999]

Directions: On US 16 between three and five miles south of Rapid City. Outside of Gold Panning Black Hills Gold. South of downtown around two miles on US 16, on the right, just south of the intersection of Catron Blvd.

Rochford is almost like a trip back in time. Think 75 to 100 years in the past and not a tourist trap either.

Very good! I knew I'd seen it, but just couldn't remember where, but then again, I'm not in the Black Hills nearly as much as I'd like to be.

If only I could say the same! I was born in Rapid City and plan to make it back at some point, even if it's just for the summers. You'll love it there!!!
