Upon further reflection, it raises some interesting questions. What would be the experience of scientists falling into a black hole, if they did not realize was there? Would they think that the expansion of the universe was happening at an ever-increasing rate? Would neutrons start to appear that they were going faster than the speed of light? Would the people predicting the end of the world be off in their calculations? Would there be a cry for universal health care?

You wouldn't survive entering the event horizon so you would never, ever, be able to experience what it would be like to enter a black hole.

Ummm, at the event horizon, yes. On the way there, no. We already have gravitational influences that we experience that are caused by black holes. Our sun and the earth would not be within a galaxy if that wasn't the case. The gravitational stresses would follow the old square of the distance rules.

Since the laws of the Universe cease to exist in a black hole how does anyone know if you die or not?

They don't cease to exist. Hawking made that error at first.

Some very learned scientists would disagree with you. The Hawking Paradox, and the arguments against it.
