So, I'm a 20 something female thinking about making the move to Spokane, is it a good city for the younger crowd?

i work in the medical field so the job scene is good but, i don't know about the social scene, or the outdoor actives?

any help or insight would be very welcome

to answer this question you'd need to compare it to what other choices you have.....spokane is GREAT for outdoor activities; water sports, snow sports, hiking, camping, rafting, fishing, you name it. but if you love the nightlife then too it's all relative.....spokane would be boreing compared to seattle, but not so much compared to any place in idaho, montana, wyoming or most of oregon. so it depends on how much you are into the nightlife.....if you want good nightlife then you'll need to pick a bigger city then spokane. good luck

Are you hot? If so, you should definitely make the move! (JUST KIDDING!)

I think the bar scene downtown is pretty cool for how small the area is. Not a good place for clubbin' though. Outdoor activities are abundant.

As previously mentioned, the opportunities for outdoor recreation in and around the Spokane area are superb. There are many lakes within a short drive. There is plenty of access to forest lands for camping, hunting, etc.

As far as the social scene goes, it really depends on what you are looking for. Spokane is probably not much for having a good Clubbing scene (I really wouldn't know), if that is what you are after, but the overall nightlife has vastly improved in the past few years. There are a number of good restaurants/bars that seem to cater to a younger crowd. For the most part I would describe the night life as "laid back" - and you can correctly draw both the positive and the negative assumptions from that term.

Hopefully this helps. Good luck!
