Hi, Anyone in the medical field, non clinical - I will soon be finished with a medical assisting course and am considering a move to Spokane. I would arrive and start looking for a job (since as far as I can see this is not the type of job that gets hired long distance). Any input on the likelihood of finding a job within a reasonable amount of time, like maybe 2-3 months?

Spokane looks great! Lots of outdoors activities, beautiful area. I am just concerned about finding a job! (Like lots of other people!)

Unfortunately, this is not a pretty picture in our fine city presently.
Hopefully the stimulus will help in this important area soon.... Good Luck in your passion.

Default thanks

Thanks Vette-Dude, I am kind of afraid to make the move without a job at this particular time in our economy. Will continue to get information about the communities both in the city and around it and keep in touch with the job situation over there.
