London has hosted the modern Olympics 3 times and Britain has invented many of the sports that people from all over the world take part in.. Greece is not an appropriate home for anything on a major scale.

Exactly HOSTED which means but its not the home. HOME is Greece. The flame and the idea of the games come from London? Really?
Who wants a major scale anyway? London as well as other cities can have that but lets see first how the 2012 games will end.The games are too expensive to put on now days and the games should return HOME to Greece for ever!

To be honest I'm not too sure Greece would appreciate having to host the Olympics every 4 years!

The cost of the infrastructure is still there from the 2004 Olympics so anything else is can be covered at one point.

Today I heard in the news that Turkey claims the Olympic Flame as their own!

OK then, I now say that the sun has been rising from the west all these years but we never noticed it!
