Every school has a mascot. Some represent strength and intellegence. Some represent courage and progressivenes. Others are just to be unique and even imaginary (TCU, Western Kentucky, Ohio State....why a Buckeye????)

What is THE best mascot a school can have. (I was a Panther in Middle School, High School, and college. So you what I think.)

Put some thought into this one.
Vote on what the mascot represents.....or if it's cute or not.

Oh, BTW. I don't want to offend any Native Americans out there. So Indian mascots don't count.

It probably doesn't get any better than the UC Santa Cruz banana slug, but second place goes to my alma mater's mascot, Rudy Flyer of the University of Dayton:

Michigan State has the best mascot! I have yet to see any team, college or pro, that can top Sparty.

UC schools seem to have quite the gamut of mascots...Banana Slugs, Gauchos, Anteaters, etc.

No affiliation but I myself get a kick out of the Youngstown State mascot:

I have to go with the Penn Quakers. The fighting Quakers? It's the epiphany of contradictions.

It's kind of like the Gandhi University Beefeaters.
