I just made my bets thru Oaklawn Anywhere
I decided to add (2) $1 Superfectas by adding Gunnerva to my two Trifectas.
Thus, I have made 6 bets for a total of $14 bet today.
Cheap entertainment !
I am just about to call my bookie, better known as my son in law. He will be at the dog races betting and watching. I still don't know exactly what way to go. BTW, we sometimes do use Oaklawn, but right now our bank there is empty and it is easier to call son in law.

Good luck
Well, if I don't win anything today I hope a " fellow Arkie" does.
Cloud Computing didn't do squat for me when I bet him in his last race, the Wood Memorial. Finished what I thought was a dull 3rd. Follows that up with an impressive win today. He was one of the horses I used 2nd but I missed the 3rd place horse anyway so I came up empty,
What in the heck happened to Always Dreaming? He backed up like traffic, inexcusable for a legitimate 6-5 favorite. The pace wasn't that fast so he had no excuse.
I did have a good time today as I cashed several tickets on the undercard.
I had Empire to win and the same horse on the top of three trifectas with no Always Dreaming on any of them. Cloud Computing ruined all 4 tickets. The Belmont may be a very small field. Quite a few good races coming up before the Breeders Cup weekend.
And he can't in the Belmont either. I saw a story that Lookin' At Lee and Classic Empire may be the only repeats from the Preakness. Classic will be the favorite again it seems.
Yes but which one can get that far first. None have ever run that far and very few of them have ever competed in a race that was 1 1/4 miles. Lookin At Lee has run in the most races that were a mile or farther. 8 times and he has finished 2nd or 3rd or 4th in 7 of those races. He has not run many sprints like Empire and many of the others. Lee might be part of the superfecta or trifecta once again.
Another question mark is the unknown from Japan in Epicharis.
Can they go 2 miles and get to the finish line first? I see the field and not familiar with any of the horses.
M. Maker has a couple entries. Roman Approval I've seen before.
This will be an interesting race on Friday the 9th. And you can watch live on NYRA online.
This race is two miles:
2017 Belmont Gold Cup Invitational
Classic Empire is out with an injury. Epicharis the unknown is the 2-1 favorite now. I'm leaning to Irish War Cry though a low price of only 3-1. The race is now wide open being 1.5 miles. The tri and super could pay a nice price.
