Great win for Australia today against Pakistan. Pakistan displayed horrendous Fielding /Catching prowess and let Australia cross 300 runs target.
Although it was a gutsy display by few Pakistani players, everytime they hit a few boundaries, Australia pegged back with a wicket.

I liked this story from the game.
We cricketers love our stats.
We'll know in a few hours if they become an inside bet. Even if they lose to India they probably still retain the #1 spot.
IMO unless they collapse in the closing days they've already punched their ticket to the semi's along with the 3 usual suspects. MAYBE Windies can dislodge one of them if they maintain their level of play... but it looks like the final four are starting to take shape.
I don't know about NZ being dislodged now that they don't have to face India (which really sucks, I was so looking forward to watching the match when I got home from work). I don't think South Africa or Pakistan is going to give them too much trouble, and the way they've been playing I figure they'll dispatch the Windies who were pretty inconsistent in ODI play building up to the tournament. In short I think NZ's spot in the final four is pretty well secured. I think if Windies is going to dislodge anyone, they'll have to start it by taking care of business against England tomorrow.
I guess Windies have been dislodged now from any possibility of Semi-Finals. They gave a shambolic display of Batting and Bowling.
England were well deserved winners today.
Sri Lanka are lucky to be at 5th position after stealing points from Pakistan and Bangladesh due to Rainfall.
Tomorrow, Australia can consolidate their claim by defeating Sri Lanka and move to the top with 8 points.
South Africa can join Windies, Pakistan and Bangladesh with 3 points if they can defeat Afghanistan.
Then there is a Biggie on Sunday "India vs Pakistan"
Another solid display by Australia Team. Whenever they are under pressure, they bounce back. Sri Lanka did peg them back in last few over and restricted them just above 300. In Response, Sri Lanka were cruising to victory but what a spell by Aussie Fast bowling battery Starc & company. Sri Lankan batsman had no clue what hit them.
Champion stuff !!
Afghanistan Team need some more experience.
Tomorrow we have India vs Pakistan. I was reading some Indian newspapers where they were interviewing Indian supporters who have travelled there from Dubai, Delhi, USA , Canada. They were telling that ticket prices have gone up in the range of 800 to 900 pounds for tomorrow game. Thats a huge price.
India defeated Pakistan convincingly in a rain-affected match. It really looked like a Home Game atmosphere for India Team. I am sure that even England vs India will look like an away game for England. Big screens were put up for fans in Manchester City Center who could not get to enter the stadium.
It was surprising to see Pakistan opting to Bowl first after winning the Toss. India would have batted first anyways. With Duckworth Lewis rule, chasing the target becomes a nightmare.
