I just watched Tyson Gay in his Olympic run. He didn't make the final but he was very gracious. He seems to have a great attitude and sets a great example for the kids. There are other athletes that seem to exude such wonderful spirit, like Dara Torres. Both are a joy to hear and watch. Are there others you all think show exemplary character?

Going slightly off topic, Jay Leno, several weeks ago, in a "Headline News" segment, showed a highly Catholic newspaper that does a high amount of censoring change Tyson Gay's name to "Tyson Homosexual". It was so hilarious I nearly teared up! Did anyone see that? I'll have to find that clip.

Getting back on topic, no, I missed his interview. Too bad Gay got hurt in July; I'm sure it affected him not even making it to the 100m finals.

He wasn't ready to run. Hammy's take a long time to fully heal. I'm surprised he didn't pop it again. I hope he has another Olympics in him, he's a great guy.

I was hopeful for Tyson but had a feeling he wouldnt make it to the final in the end as his heats were a struggle but he will bounce back hopefully and it will be great to see him next yr in berlin at the champs.

He was clearly in pain during the heats and semi's. The guy could barely keep his balance. But great fella. Made no excuses for his poor showing. Not many people have that kind of attitude.

How about Lola's character? I feel bad for her after clipping that 9th hurdle. BTW, is it just me or is she smoking hot?

She is beautiful I think I'm in love but I was gutted for her she was easily the fastest and was winning by a margin in the final until she hit that hurdle I felt so sorry for her when she was crying at the end bless her.

I was also very impressed with Tyson Gay. He was very classy in his interview.

I thought Lolo was too. I felt bad for her - and yes, she is hot.
