Certainly the rocky hills of the Ozarks couldn't raise food to feed the Missourians.
But they can sure raise beef, pork and poultry. Who need more? What are ya, some Califoreigner type vegan or sumpin?

But I'll give you this. We can't raise such large and numerous mosquitos as you do in MN and we don't call our mud puddles lakes like y'all do there.

Now you just stay put!

Remember YOU wrote this in another thread.....

Just looking for a place that has milder winters than Minnesota.

I would still spend from May 1 til Nov 1 in Minnesota.

Those 6 months are great in Minnesota.

SoutherN MO/ northern Arkansas is a 1 day drive from Minnesota
.

and give me a break about Minnesota, we can grow more produce in one month in California than you can in 2 years.........
Living where I do, I laughed til I cried that someone wants to be Missouri snowbird.
BTW Cali, I was in Broseley last month, looks pretty good!
Of course, now that the Mayor has left for Ste Genevieve county, the cotton gin that he restored is looking rather forlorn.

Think Energy Group, a leading manufacturer of plastic products has openings for 2 Tool & Die Technician for direct hire positions in Springfield, MO. TEG also has other types of positions open.

Penmac, and Jarden Plastics Solutions also have openings. Google employment plastics Springfield for a list of possibilities.

My S-I-L is working over time and weekends because the company he works for cannot find qualified people who want to work. They are an electric service company - and sometimes the deep fryer at a Burger King goes out on a week end and someone has to go and fix it. Not everyone want that kind of job, but they pay good and they have openings.

If you have SKILLS, a good work ethic, and are a team player there are jobs out there.

Per Nu2pomona's instructions, I just googled "employment plastics Springfield" and guess what ... that plastics manufacturer is paying $43,000 for wiring hot runners!! Now I'm curious, anyone know what a hot runner is?
