We will be moving to Hurricane later this month and need to get a Medicare provider. Are people satisfied with Select Health Advantage, there doesn't seem to be any alternative that I'm aware of.
Medical costs will be significantly higher than they were in in California using Kaiser or Blue Shield.
Also who would be a good dealer to purchase a 2007-2009 used truck from?
Any other hints you can give a new resident to the area will be deeply appreciated

Not sure about Select Health Advantage, we have Regence Blue Cross/Blue Shield, but pay for the supplement. California was MUCH higher than here (St. George area), Check with health insurance agents in area.

Beware of SelectHealth. They require in-network providers ONLY My wife is researching Medicare plans now as she becomes eligible this year. Regence BC/BS is the best provider in the area and there are not a lot of choices.

Curious - are these part f plans? We are considering a move to st george and will also need a supplemental plan. I think aarp uses united healthcare and you are supposed to be able to use any provider that accepts medicare. We called intermountain healthcare and we were told that they take part f but medicare advantage plans can be a problem.

any info on this is appreciated. We are in the research stage ourselves so want to verify what we gave been told.

Thx

I was referring to Part A&B plans. SelectHealth offers these plans but only through in-network providers which means if you travel outside of the SelectHealth coverage area you are on your own. Medicare Advantage (supplemental) plans are numerous with many providers.
