So this will be my first 4th of July as a St. Louis resident, and I am wondering what type of stuff will be going on around town. I would like to see fireworks of course, and I am wondering if there are any fairs or carnival type events happening anywhere. Some new friends I just met invited me to a party at their place, but I am looking for lots of stuff to do for the whole holiday weekend

One of the biggest events downtown is Fair St Louis, featuring air shows, concerts, and fireworks. Lineup this year includes Steve Miller Band, Maroon 5, and Montgomery Gentry.
