So...just moved to downtown STL from Texas about 2 months ago. I still have a Texas driver's license and plates.

Where do I go to get my vehicle registered for Missouri? Is there a place downtown? Also, what do I need to do exactly....confused. Thanks.

When I came back home to STL I had to take a road signs test for a new drivers license and then get new plates for the car and that was it. All done at the DMV.

Hi,
to do both at the same place i would go to the downtown office:
You can get a new MO license and get MO plates. You will need a personal property tax exemption before you get your plates (can get that from dept of rev) make sure you have proof of insurance before you go to get your plates as well.

DOWNTOWN (ST LOUIS)
CITY OF ST LOUIS COLLECTOR OF REVENUE

It is all done through the Department of Revenue. Coming from Wisconsin, I find it weird that some of the people I ran to in this state don't know what a DMV is since car registration and licenses are done through them. I don't even know why they are not technically called DMVs.

Yeah I don't know why I called it the DMV in my post. Just out of habit I guess

You can also go to Walmart to get your license and plates.
