I'd use the same defense that I used through the whole game and take my chances!
That is true. Clearly the Rams assumed incorrectly that New England would take a knee at their own 20 yard line or so. Also, The Rams turned it over 3 times including once for a score. That's too many unless you force similar turnovers in that game.

The funny thing is that Tom Brady of all people was named MVP of that game. Go watch the game again, he didn't play well, nor have great stats. The last drive were easy screen passes. New England scored 20 points, 7 by their own defense, and more on shorter fields.

Exactlly!! That's my point. He was good on that last drive because the Rams used the prevent defense and let him make those short throws. Why let him do that? I still think the Rams could've stopped them on that drive and forced overtime. They had a good defense that year as well as a kick ass offense! Then who knows how it would've turned out?!

I still think even though Eli had a great game in the super bowl this year, how can you not give the mvp to one of those great defensive linemen or give it to all of them?!

Defense wins championships!!

Why do I hate the Patriots? Because I'm a huge Raiders fan and the Patriots got away with the worst call in NFL history against Oakland. I've even talked to Patriot fans that admit the Raiders got hosed in that game!
