Interracial Dating in America (St. Louis, University City: university, taxes, suite)

I guess I should introduce myself. I am a black man in my late 20s and I have a graduate degree in a STEM field. I recently moved to St Louis for work and I'm still exploring the city. Many black women here are either ghetto hoods rats or something else I don't want to talk about. But I have digressed from the main point of this post. I grew up near a major city up north and mostly find myself attracted to Hispanic or white women. So I have two questions for you. 1.) Where in STL do you see a lot of interracial couples (black men/non-black women)? 2.) Which city in America has the most black men and white women couples?

You can call me an "uppity coon", "self-hating coon" or whatever. It's almost 2020 and I'm not gonna lie to myself anymore, I know what I like. Thanks.

There is nothing wrong with liking what you like.

I see numerous interracial relationships in my building downtown. Also check out some of the other upscale areas of the city and county.


Your better cities for interracial relationships are going to be in areas of the country that have a lower percentage Black population mixed with education. Minneapolis, Dallas and Phoenix comes to mind. I've heard Seattle, Portland and Denver are good for Black men who date other races.

Wouldn’t this discussion be better suited to dating in the general US forums? I say this because the OP asked what American city has more interracial couples. This isn’t so much a St Louis topic as it is an American topic. Thank you.

If you're trying to meet women, I think maybe you should hang out in places around the Wash U complex, or SLU, or maybe in University City. Maybe find a bar with a good happy hour crowd close to Wash U? (I suggest Wash U because I have a friend who's a biologist there. lol)

I haven't been in the dating world in a long time...but I see lots of interracial couples. I don't think it's that big a deal around here.
