I just recently bought a 2013 CPO Subaru Outback 2.5i with an extended warranty. It's my first Subaru and I'm finding that the more I drive it, the more I am liking it.

So, I'm wondering how many Subaru owners are out there, what are you driving, why, and would you buy it again?

I guess I just like the way the Forester looks.

2000 & 2001 OBW Limited's. Utility, AWD performance in adverse driving conditions, comfortable interior, and they just keep racking up the miles without a lot of maintenance/repairs.

Prior: 1997's OBW's mid-line, 1995 Legacy Brighton Wagon, and a '93 wagon. All delivered yeoman performance for low cost per mile and went into the 300+ K mile range ... still running.

We didn't buy any of these with less than 100+ K miles on the odo and trusted that Subie quality would still come through for us, since the prior maintenance and service was unknown to us. 3 cars were bought on-line, sight unseen ... and proved to be OK, although one did take head gaskets (which was a reasonably simply DIY project and not much cost).

The Forester is a good size, not too big and not too small. We almost got a 2014 but finally decided on an Escape. We also thought about the Crosstrek, with a more modern look, but it seemed to small.

I think Subaru's are the ugliest cars in the world. I see them and I scratch my head why anyone would ever buy them. My buddy LOVES them. Good for him because he is keeping them in business

I like the bug eye Impreza/WRX. I also like the "retro" styling and body cladding of the old Outback models even though others do not and I also prefer the smaller size of the old Foresters to the new ones. The new ones are way too large and mainstream.

My first car was a 2005 Subaru WRX wagon. Was named "B*tch" for how difficult it was to drive a manual car and FIRST car ever. But really liked it over the years. It lasted till this winter when the repairs were a bit too much. Upgraded to the 2014 version of the same thing. LOVE IT.

Very dependable car. However, because it is all-wheel drive, if one tire goes, all 4 need to be replaced. I've had 3 sets in the 9 years. And of course, it eats a lot of gas, premium no less. But I love the performance and dependability of the car, and bought another of the same. Here's to another 9-10 years again!

I have respect for all their vehicles, but have to say my favorite would be the BRZ at this point, followed by the WRX. My wife has an Outback which is terrific, but nothing beats sporty car fun to drive factor!

I have an old Legacy sedan that I really like. Although the model that grabbed my interest and made me look at Subies closely was a Baja and I also really like the little Outback Sport.
