Pickled ogo is one of my snack foods, so I get more than a share of iodine naturally. Plus adding wakame and other seaweed to miso. Otherwise why do you need more iodine than normal? Cow dairy has it and our salt normally has it added.
How much are you advocating per day?

I don't eat high iodine foods nor white table salts...and hardly any cow's dairy...some cheeses but that's it. Sounds like you are OK with what you do.
When I turned on coast to coast last night before going to sleep I never know what to expect, alternative MD's, UFO's, or what...last night it was alternative medicine guru and the first thing out of his mouth was Iodine for sure since MOST are ingesting fluoride day in and day out...fluoride pulls any iodine from the body. So so few know this info..unless they are up to date. He said 12.5mg is best daily dose. I take less but today I took close to 10mg and actually feel more energy.
Big reason to be serious about Iodine. MOST U.S. cities are fluoridated and most people drink "F" water, bathe in it, shower in it and it goes on and on.
I continue with what I said in #17 above. Normally 1-2 drops in clean water daily.
No breast pains/tenderness.
