OH boy, still in the midst of selling my house in SC and looking now to buy a home in Lutz, FL.

How congested is traffic getting from Lutz to Riverview?

How long would it take in drive time from Lutz to Riverview?

Also, is there a website available to show commute times from one place to another??

I truly would appreciate anyone's help on this....as it will determime whether or not we will live in that area.

The negative is there is no direct route from Lutz to Riverview, I would assume your best bet would be to get to I-75 from I-275...do mapquest and see what it comes up with....

I don't like long commutes, so I wouldn't even consider living in Lutz and working in Riverview. Why not live in Riverview? There are a lot of really nice neighborhoods to choose from and some very good buys right now.

I live in brandon and my midwife is in Lutz, it takes me about 45 mins to get there (i75 to i275), so I imagine lutz to riverview would be an hour.

I drive this route regularly and most of the time, it's without an incident. I agree the time will be generally 45 minutes. If it's raining or there's an accident you can add more minutes. I disagree with the suggested routes above. The best way from Lutz is to drive east on Bearss to south on Bruce B Downs then east on Fletcher to south on I-75. Forget getting on I-75 at Bruce B Downs. The traffic on I-75 between BBD and Fletcher is always congested. Expect backups at I-4 and I-75 regularly as well (keep in the left lanes at this exit and you'll do fine). And I've never saved any time driving I-275 to Riverview from Carrollwood (even though the internet maps and GPS suggests this route).

That's crazy...all the way on the other side....it will take forever...why not live in Riverview if you'll commute there?
