Yes. You may need to go with something stronger than Frontline. Fleas are very bad here.

Actually Frontline is not as effective as it use to be so you might want to ask the vet if it works in that area. You do need to keep your dog on heartworm meds all year in FL.

Good to know. I would like to find a reputable vet in Belleair and get the scoop on what would be best for Rusty before we get there so he won't suffer with fleas!! Anyone have a recommendation?

Don't know about chiggars but you will probably run into a few noseeums every now and then. Tiny little bugs that do bite usually more around sundown.

Very often you hear ppl complain about traffic here, but like everything else , it is all relative to which other place you are comparing it to.
So , since you are coming from Boston, maybe it is not heavy traffic for you.
Compare the driving here to traffic in the DC area or Chicago at rush hour, and you think : "piece of cake here".
On another subject....Frontline does not work on fleas here.
Advantage does.
