Thanks! It scared me senseless! We were at a RaceTrac and could see the clouds coming from both sides, we hoped to make it home but the gas thing was moving at snail pace. It was scary! Beautiful clouds though no doubt, but loud, and the lighting was everywhere.

I have only heard thunder at my house twice here so far. One time at a distance and one almost direct hit. The latter rattled the house like I never heard before. It was awesome. I can only imagine how a full fledged storm will sound during the summer.

It feels pretty good outside to me right now, with a dewpoint of 56. And according to this scale, we're in the comfort zone:

Where on that scale do you want to be? At over 80 degree dewpoint you can actually die if you suffer asthma. It's like trying to inhale water. You'd certainly hate where I'm moving in a few weeks!

Yep. Surely so. Pouring curtains of rain, thunder booming, lightning strikes all over the place. Simply spectacular. I haven't seen daily thunderstorms so violent out here on the west coast.
