I couldn't see it. Maybe if it was a 70" like mine, I could see it.

That is not the living room. The living room has hardwoods. That is our family room, which we made the HT room. In a room with high end audio, as this one has, the last thing you want is a solid surface floor. Study up on how sound works and you will know why.

I'll stick with rugs.

Well thanks to a reverse west wind flow and solid sunshine the 65" VT30 plasma was just too much for my bedroom as it would never get below 82 in the summer. Plus the black levels on my 60vt60 would crush that of your 70" LCD. And lets not bring up the crappy motion blur we get with LED- LCD. When people talk A/V they are singing my song.

Thx. It is simply the best looking TV on the market. You should see people's jaw drop when they see it. It replaced my Panasonic Viera plasma, which I never really cared for. Not a big fan of the entry level TV's like LG, Visio and Panasonic. You get what you pay for. The awesome 70" TV was a gift to us from someone. We can watch it in a bright room, which is good considering all the bright sunshine my house here has. But we also have plantation shutters we can close if we want it darker, which we almost never do as we simply love the outdoors.

Here is where my crappy Panasonic TV sits now......in the box, inside a closet.
