I heard from someone that Tampa has a high young adult population (I'm 20), is that true? Does Tampa have a high young adult population?

Tampa and Hillsborough are very young compared to most of Florida. The problem is you have to stay in Hillsborough. Most of the other counties that make up Tampa bay are quite old.

I'm sure some of the young adults are high, but that goes for the older adults, too.

Thanks. It sounds like a great city and I'm seriously considering moving there.

Downtown St. Pete is a young area, so is South Tampa. You really don't wanna venture too far away from those places if you want to be around people your age. Westchase has a lot of young families.

young is because we have numerous colleges and schools. and I just saw that Polytech will actually give away classes to newcommers next year to build up the school - IF I was 18 I'd be all over that, so expect even more young folks!! but visit Pinellas,,, maybe small part of St pete ok,, but small part, the rest is a retirement community,,, of 6 mo and then a desert -zzzzz
