We have a sudden infestation of drywood termites, sigh. Can you tell me of your tenting experiences? How much did it cost, who did you go with and did you like them or not, how long can you wait before seeing such evidence and tenting without them eating your house to bits, etc? And yes, they're definitely drywood and not subterranean unfortunately.

We had a big infestation as well. They were in the floors everywhere, horrible.
Fortunately, we have drywall and subterranean treatments and warranty through pestbear. They came out yesterday and did a big treatment and this morning was the first morning I didn't have to vacuum up termites everywhere. If this treatment doesn't end up working then we will tent. I think I pay $125 per year for subterranean and a few hundred for drywall too.
I asked the tech about tenting and he said around $1500.
Have you had a company out yet to see what your other options are?
