Perhaps you are not "most people"

That's probably why it's so crowded down there.
Yeah, they love it so much they crank up the A/C, plop their butts in their cushy office chairs with a box of Krispy Kremes and run up their post counts on multiple forums educating people about nothing. Same thing they would do if they lived anywhere else ...

I'm about done with this cold weather season. Worst it's been since I moved here.

If I can't stay in my shorts and sandals past 7pm this coming week, I'm going to lose my mind.

People who moved here for the weather are the once they had to leave back up and now wondering why anyone is living here . Can't we just enjoy what we have now without invoking the 92 degree humid summer hell?

I will never move to a place based on just weather, period. But I can understand those who retired weather could be their number one priority. When I retire, I would probably be part timer too .

Weather does play a role in how active people are, its not fun to go out in 10 degrees at night with the wind chill below zero, I know i went to college in Boston and it gets old even for a young guy. I have no idea how the old people put up with it and they don't come out of the apartments and houses for 4 months.

True. But it's also not fun to go out in the Florida humidity.

At least in Florida you can work during the day and when the sun goes down in the summers its warm but manageable at night even in July and August. If you work outside in the Florida heat I agree that would suck.

But it does make it harder to be active during the day. This is why summers in NYC are just as bad as the winters. At least in Florida we go from our air conditioned homes to our air conditioned cars to work.

Anytime I go running from April-October here, it has to be at morning or at night. I'm interested to see how I handle the humidity this year, I've been away from Florida for a while. Maybe I'll adjust to it better, or maybe i'll remember why I hate it. Some people can handle it, I have to hand it to them.

Funny, I'm pretty sure I said most. Obviously, you're not in that category.

Those of us who did our homework knew it would be hot in summer before we moved here.
