Yeah it's pretty incredible stuff. I love what Dellavedova is doing, gotta root on the Australians.

Steve yzerman played for a team that is a dynasty went on to win the cup back to back in 1996 then again in 1997 very few teams have one that. The owner of the team had 3 stanly cup rings since he bought the team in 1982 and your GM our old captin has 2 rings. And have made the playoffs for 23 years in a row now that's a record that will never be beat, that's a dynasty.

Good to see the Tampa locals rallying around their team and having much fun however i'd suspect most of these fans are Bolt fans and not really hockey fans.as an example had Tampa not been in these playoffs and instead the playoffs were with Phoenix Coyotes and Minnesota Wild i wonder how many would be glued to their tv sets for every game .

Well people just want to support their home city. Nothing wrong with that. But you're right.

Of course if you can't pay your rent and grocery bills, by all means, don't go to baseball games, movie theater, or even eat out. It's all relative.
Most folks are not going to sit in a hot Ray Jay and watch teams they didn't grow up rooting for - especially with NFL Sunday Ticket.

As for the Lightning, I think they do just fine as is with all of the local support.

And as for the Rays, location location location ... although you do get a full house when the Red Sox or Yankees are in town.

Your last comment is ridiculous at best; folks budget money for entertainment, but why should they go to a Rays-White Sox game if they're Blue Jays fans ? Instead of a movie they really want to see ...

Be thankful Tampa is a town full of transplants; if they weren't living in TB, you wouldn't have the population base to support any teams.

The fact that the lighting could have a potential dynasty doesn't take anything away form the redwings accomplishments, it really has nothing to do with them, my point is in the cap era you are not going to see the dynasties of the 70's where you win 5 of 8.

Yep. The Lightning are still playing, while most other teams are not.
