They are nationally accredited, not regionally accredited. This is an important distinction, and the basis for most public educational institutions NOT accepting ACICS credits for transfer.

They actually just got bought out by a non-profit. Still doesn't fix the fact that they're unaccredited, but they are now a "non-profit."

"Zenith Education Group, a newly created nonprofit provider of career school training, announced in February 2015 that it had finalized its acquisition of more than 50 Everest and WyoTech campuses from Corinthian Colleges Inc.,"

I'm not saying they're not terrible. I did state they're still unaccredited.

I am currently living in LA and have been for the last 10 years. However it is time for me to make the move because i will be going to school at Everest Brandon FL for nursing. I have no idea where the the best are for me to work and live. I want to be close to school however i am not sure if brandon is too rural for me.

I will be looking to rent a room and i have found many places however i cannot see the surrounding areas.

Any ideas on the best place for a single girl in her late 20's to live? i like to go to the beach and enjoy dinners out. not too much into clubbing however i like bars and lounges. I want to be around people my age so i can make friends that are in the same boat as me. preferably going to school also! because god knows i will be studying a ton

I am used to making around $26 an hour in LA and i know that i will most likely have to be making less so i want to make sure that i live in an area of tampa where there are plenty of restaurants if i want to waitress or offices for me to work during the day.

I will be looking for a job as soon as i get there so any tips please let me know.

Any tips people want to give me about anything living in tampa area!
Lots of nursing opportunities once you get where you are going. Rentals too. Make sure when you pass your exams to get reciprocities in the states you wish to nurse especially Cally in case your want to returned there someday. My wife is a critical care nurse here and is not doing to bad on the pay rate, but it is not like the Philly area where we came from. Good luck on the nursing venture.
