What would be nice is if they would make texting while driving a primary offense and have penalties similar to DUI. I ride a motorcycle and almost daily almost get killed by some moron who is playing with a phone.

I'm in St Pete, and it is hands down the most dangerous city I have ever seen for pedestrians and bicyclists. Every day I have a close brush w/ death when I ride my bike, and walking across the roads is not much better. If I had known it was like this, we would never have moved here. It's the drivers who just don't care! That's the depressing thing. People are in such a hurry it's crazy, and I honestly think (know) that if I were hit they would just keep going. Just fantastic how ruthless and uncaring the drivers are. Obviously I should have spent more time here before talking my wife into moving, based on a short visit I made to ck the place out.
