Mostly about every other day around 5:00 PM in the summers. You can set your watch by 'em.

I love a good thunderstorm too but I liked them a lot better when they started earlier in the day around 2-3 and not right before or during rush hour.

You can get a storm everyday or not at all for several days, while other places in Tampa have a downpour.

The Tampa Bay area as a whole is politically pretty diverse. You have your Brandon-suburb, Bible-believin' Rhonda Storms devotees...and you have your Skipper's Smokehouse, WMNF-listening Kucinich voters. Throw in some Uhurus, Quakers, and CenCom folk, and everything in between. IN GENERAL, politics often follows geography here: entire neighborhoods can run red or blue (or green). But before someone corrects me, I will add not always. There are probably Progressive Democrats somewhere in Brandon, and members of the Religious Right in Kenwood. Just not a lot of 'em.
