Hi!
Looking to move to the Tampa area and going between 1. Oldsmar 2. Palm Harbor 3. Safety Harbor and 4. Dunedin. Looking to be in a safe area, not too far from a beach, within ~40 minutes or so to Tampa Airport and Tampa General Hospital. Will rent for a year then buy. I'm hoping for some positives/negatives for the above mentioned areas...
Thank you for your help!

Those are a great 4 and probably what I would have chosen if it weren't for the commute to my job.

I have a soft spot for Safety Harbor - I like that it's a nice walkable town with a lot of trees and seems very neighborhoody. You can probably get a little more for your money is Oldsmar, however. which is also a nice community. They are of course very close to one another so the decision of one over the other won't have a huge impact on your commute. I always liked Dunedin too but it always felt a little too far out of Tampa for me. That might be on the long end for you if you are looking to be 40 min away from Tampa General. I don't have much experience with Palm Harbor although what I have seen of it was nice.

Safety Harbor and Oldsmar will have train horns from the CSX line at odd hours of the night. Make sure to investigate the proximity to the tracks.

Dunedin is wonderful and so quaint downtown and has lots of microbreweries. Always something going on downtown and then there is Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands.
